James Allan Joins APCO’s Financial Advisory, Communications Practice as Senior Director in New York

NEW YORK – May 28, 2025: James Allan, a trusted advisor to business leaders through high-profile moments that shape their reputations with investors, media and other stakeholders, joins APCO’s Financial Advisory and Communications practice as a senior director in the New York office, APCO North America President Kelly Williamson announced today.   

Throughout his career, Allan has provided strategic counsel to publicly traded companies, private equity firms, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds and state-owned enterprises during critical moments such as capital markets transactions, fundraises, special situations, litigation and crises. Prior to joining APCO, James held senior positions with Edelman and Brunswick Group. 

His international career has spanned key financial and media hubs across the United States, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia, where he has helped global organizations through high-stakes material events and developed a nuanced understanding of diverse business, regulatory and cultural environments.
