Ben Marchman is a seasoned professional specializing in crisis and issues management with experience in litigation, labor relations, risk mapping and international issues. As an associate director in APCO’s Los Angeles office and a member of the Geo-Commerce team, Ben has worked with clients across a range of sectors and issue areas. He is also an experienced project manager with on-the-ground support experience at international convenings and with large multinationals.

Prior to his current role at APCO, Ben was a senior account director at MikeWorldWide, an integrated public relations firm, where he specialized in labor relations and corporate reputation. Ben began his career at APCO as an intern in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and spent the next four years on the Crisis, Issues & Litigation team. During that time, Ben focused on litigation communications, crisis preparedness and growing APCO’s West Coast offering.
Ben is a native Californian who received his undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of California, Davis. He received a master’s degree in International Affairs from American University in Washington, D.C where he focused on international political risk and cyber policy.
