APCO Worldwide Opens New Office in Frankfurt

January 8, 2019

Frankfurt (January 17, 2017) –  APCO Worldwide is expanding its strong operations in Germany by opening a new office in Frankfurt, in addition to its thriving Berlin office, announced Brad Staples, global CEO, today.

“As Germany has become increasingly important on the international stage over the past two decades, Frankfurt has become an even more significant global hub for business,” said Staples. “Our international clients from both emerging and developed markets want us to have an office in Frankfurt, as well as in Berlin. Also, while as a firm we remain confident about the future of London as a global financial centre, it obviously makes sense in the post-Brexit vote environment to ensure APCO has a strong presence in all Europe’s key financial capitals.”

“APCO has been helping our clients succeed in Germany for more than 15 years,” said Robert Ardelt, managing director of APCO in Germany. “Our campaigning approach is based on these key pillars; our strong public affairs heritage, outstanding corporate communications counsel, in-depth crisis communications expertise, plus exceptional creative and digital capabilities. We integrate these pillars to deliver effective communication campaigns across sectors. This approach has ensured strong growth for APCO in Germany and now we are excited to move to the next level with our new office and expanded team in Frankfurt.”

APCO’s new Frankfurt office will be led by Isabel Kassabian, the deputy managing director of APCO in Germany. Kassabian is originally from the Frankfurt area and will be relocating there from Berlin in early 2017.

“I think Frankfurt and APCO are a perfect fit,” said Kassabian. “As a city, Frankfurt is international, modern and forward-looking but with a strong history and heritage; this is very much how I see APCO. Our German team has in-depth sector expertise in healthcare, financial services, ICT and transportation which, of course, are among the leading industries in Frankfurt. I’m thrilled to be moving back to my home city to lead APCO’s new Frankfurt office.”

With a background in legal studies and business administration, Kassabian joined APCO’s German team in 2002 and was promoted to deputy managing director in 2015. She has more than 15 years of experience leading multi-market corporate communication and crisis campaigns for clients across a range of sectors.
