In Memoriam: José Antonio Llorente

January 3, 2024

We at APCO are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of José Antonio Llorente, founding partner and executive chairman of LLYC and our deepest condolences go out to his family and our friends and colleagues at LLYC.

Jose Antonio came from an extraordinary stable of professionals, pioneers and entrepreneurs at Burson Marsteller. He and his partners created a ground breaking firm in Spain and across Latin America that set a new standard in our profession. He expanded that business beyond the Spanish speaking world to create an integrated communications firm that competes with best in class organisations and remains a trusted partner to many in our field.

José Antonio was a charming, elegant, forward thinker with a warmth and integrity that set him apart from others. I always welcomed the chance to work together and to spend time socially with Jose-Antonio. He’ll be greatly missed by many across the globe.
