Associate Consultant

Zhaohong Liu serves clients from a wide range of sectors, including FMCG, health care, and technology.​ Zhaohong currently serves as an Associate Consultant in APCO’s Beijing office.

Before joining APCO, Zhaohong interned with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C., supporting research across a broad topical and geographic scope, including macroeconomic trends, global political economy, international financial institutions, and the political economy of China. Prior to that, she interned in several companies and research institutions, including ByteDance, the Asia Society Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., and the Taihe Institute. ​

Zhaohong holds a master’s degree in international economic policy with a concentration on international trade and US-China relations from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science and history of art from Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and speaks intermediate German.
