Valeria Rubello provides expert geopolitical advisory services to corporate clients. Valeria is a senior director and Geocommerce practice lead in Europe. In this role, Valeria assists clients in anticipating, understanding, and effectively responding to risks and seizing opportunities arising from geopolitical shifts. This helps companies safeguard their reputation, ensure business continuity and achieve business success.
Valeria has extensive experience in managing pan-European and international campaigns and advocacy efforts, particularly for clients in the tech, telecommunications, automotive, energy, and defence industries. She leverages her expertise in public affairs, reputation management and crisis communications to deliver impactful results.
Before joining APCO, Valeria was a member of the international staff at NATO in Brussels for four years, where she supported member nations in their crisis preparedness and developed NATO’s first civilian capabilities. Valeria holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Studies from the University of Turin, Italy. She also studied at Lund University in Sweden and pursued a second master’s degree in Global Advocacy at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Valeria is fluent in Italian and English and has a good command of French and German.
