Shivangi Gupta has experience in the worlds of event management, political risk, executive positioning, geopolitical advisory, and DEI across a broad range of industries and regions. Shivangi currently serves as an Senior Associate Director at APCO in Washington.
Shivangi has supported and led client teams in engagements across some of the world’s most dynamic and diverse economies, including the United States, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Latin America, and Africa. Some of her most rewarding experiences have been to build her current organization’s virtual gatherings offer and design, implement, and support multiple in-person and virtual events both domestically and internationally. Some of the high-profile events she has been a part of include the Bloomberg Global Business Forum, the World Economic Forum, MIT Solve, UNGA, and one of the largest women’s conferences in the world. She has also advised secretariats, high-ranking government officials and NGO leaders on everything from the programmatic elements to the technical platforms necessary to make any event a success.
Due to her passion for women’s rights and gender equality, Shivangi is also a core member of her organization’s gender practice and has led the thought leadership vertical for the DEI council over the past year.
