Project Consultant

Savio Aswin Cheyaden specializes in health and technology and is a member of APCO’s Health Practice. He brings to his role four years of experience. He focuses on government relations and public affairs, research and analysis, reputation audits, media monitoring, thought leadership and report creation. Additionally, he implements project management strategies as well. He also works on coalition advocacy projects. He currently serves as a project consultant based in APCO’s Mumbai office.

To lead is to be empathetic towards people and curious about their ideas.

Prior to joining APCO, Savio worked as an associate on a rural development initiative in the tribal belt of Murbad to provide support to micro and small rural enterprises in formalizing and scaling their business, and in creation of new business opportunities. Before that, he was a Teach For India fellow working with middle-school students in a public-private partnership municipal school in Mumbai. During the fellowship, he extensively practiced stakeholder management and served in community outreach programs pertaining to hygiene, nutrition and financial literacy.

Savio holds a Masters in Public Policy Degree with a specialization in Digital and New Technology Policy from Sciences Po Paris as well as a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. He has full-proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi and a beginner’s level proficiency in French.
