Sarah Barbour is a crisis communications professional who has worked on a range of accounts including health care industry clients such as Cepheid, Mass General Brigham and Kenvue and business-focused accounts such as Southwest, Brightmark and A&M. Sarah is an avid problem solver and hopes to be a voice of support and reason for clients as they navigate preparing for or reacting to crises and issues. As a project assistant based in Chicago, her main roles and responsibilities include monitoring media and stakeholders for litigation and issues, conducting research on specific topics and supporting the development of strategies for various initiatives.
The world is your oyster, there are endless possibilities.
Sarah previously worked at ALDI as an intern for their public relations teams and supported the issues workstream. She is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, where she earned a dual degree in public relations and advertising. At university, Sarah also participated in Inigo Communications, a student-run communications agency. During her time at the agency, she wore many hats, including content creation, project management, HR tasks, strategy and problem-solving. She continues to be an advisor to the agency in her free time.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys trying new restaurants (and will take any recommendations you have!), hanging out by Lake Michigan with friends and always trying to learn something new, whether it be about art history, anthropological studies, different cultures or just a good fun fact.
