Mehdy Taleb is a strategic communication and public affairs professional with agency experience in Paris and Brussels. He advises private sector and governmental clients facing critical reputation and regulatory challenges in France and Europe. His focus spans across complex sectors including technology, infrastructure, retail and financial services, and he leads advisory teams involved in restructurings, issues and crisis management and financial transactions. As APCO’s GeoCommerce practice lead for France, Mehdy also works on multi-market projects related to geopolitical, supply chain and international trade issues. Mehdy serves as a director based in APCO’s Paris office.

Prior to joining APCO, Mehdy was a senior advisor at Euros / Agency, a strategic communications consultancy in Paris. There, he was involved in crisis management and corporate communications missions, mostly in the technology, transportation and financial services sectors.

Mehdy started his career at the Brunswick Group in Brussels, as a European public affairs consultant. As a client handler in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, he helped industry leaders build public relations strategies in Brussels and across the EU. He was also involved in financial communications and worked on cross-border transactions (M&A), IPOs and restructurings.

In addition to his agency experience, Mehdy has been an entrepreneur for a year. He launched a retail company and was in charge of managing the company’s business development, investor relations and partnerships.

Mehdy holds a master’s degree in European policies and public affairs from Sciences Po Strasbourg and is fluent in French and English.
