Brianna Milanowski is an associate director at APCO and is based in Chicago. She specializes in crisis & issues management and is a member of the firm’s Crisis & Litigation team where she helps clients in a range of industries such as CPG, Association, Food & Bev, Consumer Health, and more.
Prior to joining APCO, Mrs. Milanowski was at Weber Shandwick as a manager on the corporate affairs team in Chicago. She has a passion for strategic thinking and has worked to solve business problems for a variety of industries and clients, ranging from grocery retailers, consumer packaged goods, Fortune 100 industrial, commodities and financial institutions. She has had a hand in a variety of crisis and issues management work, including labor relations communications, crisis scenario planning, retail location-specific issues, product recalls, employee communication and change management.
Outside of work, Mrs. Milanowski volunteers for the Crisis Text Line, answering texts from people in crisis, bringing them from a hot moment to a cool calm through active listening, collaborative problem solving and safety planning. She is also board member of the PRSA Chicago Mentorship Program, helping make meaningful connections within the Chicago PR community.
Ms. Milanowski holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the College of Communications, Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University.
