Brianna Milanowski, a crisis and issues management expert, has a passion for supporting complex situations through strategic thinking and finding the opportunists during challenging times. Based in Chicago, Brianna is a member of APCO’s crisis and litigation practice. She has counseled clients through variety of situations including labor relations communications, crisis preparedness planning and training, retail issues, product recalls, employee communication and change management, litigation communications and product changes for both internal and external audiences. Brianna brings experience working across a diverse range of industries from aviation, CPG, retail, food and nutrition, health care, maritime and more, as well as companies of varying sizes from Fortune 100, MNCs, U.S.-only based companies and local organizations.

Prior to APCO, Brianna was a manager on the corporate affairs team at Weber Shandwick in Chicago where she focused on crisis and issues management, serving national brands and Fortune 100 companies through crisis preparedness, rapid response, media relations and strategic planning, often ensuring continuity between consumer campaigns and corporate strategies.​

Brianna holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the College of Communications, Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University. She recently served on the board of PRSA’s Chicago chapter as the Mentorship chair from 2022-24.
