Director

Zoe Tobin has counseled clients from some of the world’s leading global companies, nonprofits, foundations, associations and NGOs. As a member of APCO’s corporate communications practice, she specializes in media relations, social impact and corporate reputation & purpose. Working closely with her clients, she enjoys helping to find solutions to challenging problems; developing new ideas, campaigns and initiatives; and moving agendas forward through the power of communication and advocacy. Zoe is a director in APCO’s New York office.

Zoe began her career at the New York State Senate followed by the United States Congress before moving to the press shops of the New York City Health Department and the New York City Council, the nation’s largest municipal legislative body. She went on to some of the nation’s top communications firms, where she worked with a wide range of clients including startups, academic institutions and government entities.

Outside of APCO, Zoe is active with the American Cancer Society, City Harvest and New York Cares.

She received degrees from Syracuse University where she majored in political science and English. She also completed graduate programs at Columbia University School of Journalism and the Institute for Ethical Leadership at Rutgers Business School. Zoe was named as one of City & State’s 40 Under 40 Rising Stars and received a Mayoral Certificate of Appreciation for her service to New York City during the H1N1 crisis.
