Zhu

Vivian Zhu is a senior consultant at APCO and is based in Washington, D.C., where she is a member of the firm’s Public Affairs team and its Global China practice.

Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Zhu conducted geopolitical risk and due diligence research on corporate exposure in China at Strategy Risks while completing her master’s in the UK. She previously worked at the US-China Business Council in Washington, D.C., where she coordinated USCBC programming for American business executives, U.S. and Chinese government officials, and other stakeholders of the U.S.-China commercial relationship. She also has previous internship experience on the Hill, at a thinktank, and in community development banking.

Ms. Zhu holds a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and Classical Civilizations from the University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
