Thalia Baeza Milan is a Consultant specializing in geopolitical risk and international public affairs. She is passionate about Latin America and works with the Latin American team supporting clients navigating complex political and regulatory environments across the region, delivering insight-driven strategies that address risk, manage reputation, and identify emerging opportunities. With a background in foreign policy and strategic communications, Thalia adopts a multidisciplinary approach to projects across sectors. She contributes to the firm’s global insights through regular political risk assessments, stakeholder identification and APCO’s Geopolitical Radar. A natural connector of people and ideas, she also plays a key role in fostering collaboration across internal teams and identifying synergies that enhance client impact.

Originally from Cuba, Thalia brings a people-centered perspective to her work, grounded in her academic research on social movements, media narratives and informal economies in Latin America and beyond. Her previous experiences include work in media and policy organizations, with a focus on Cuba, as well as advocacy, stakeholder engagement and communications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs from Yale University and a Master of Studies in International Relations from the University of Cambridge. She is a native Spanish and English speaker and is proficient in Mandarin.
