Senior Consultant

Tea Moravek supports clients on EU competition and trade policy, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, antitrust compliance and the implications of the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation. She also advises on broader EU law matters, including infringement procedures and regulatory enforcement. Drawing on her legal training and international experience, she helps organizations interpret complex legal and policy developments and translate them into effective public affairs strategies. A Senior Consultant based in Brussels, Tea works across a wide range of sectors, including digital markets, health care and manufacturing.

Before joining APCO, Tea worked as a national legal expert and consultant on EU-commissioned studies, contributing to legal and policy research for institutions such as the European Commission. She also gained experience in Germany as a legal consultant and project manager in the health sector. Her Blue Book traineeship at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) further deepened her understanding of EU enforcement practices and institutional processes.

Tea holds a Master’s degree in European Competition Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Law degree from the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. She is fluent in English and German, a native speaker of Slovene and Croatian, and conversant in French. Her strengths include policy analysis, stakeholder engagement and cross-border project coordination in multilingual environments.
