Silvia Perino Vaiga
Senior Consultant
Silvia Perino Vaiga is a senior consultant at APCO Worldwide and is based in Rome. At APCO, she specializes in public affairs, supporting clients in a wide range of sectors, including tech, retail and transport, advising on corporate reputation strategies, crisis management and advocacy activities. She is also a member of APCO’s Europe Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Perino Vaiga worked in Brussels for over three years serving as a consultant at the European Commission’s Secretariat-General, where she supported the Commission’s consultation and stakeholder engagement strategies for better policy-making. Before that, she built expertise as a communications and policy analysis assistant at two think tanks in Brussels and Milan.
Ms. Perino Vaiga holds a master’s degree in European studies from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Milan. In 2013, she spent an exchange semester at the University of Aarhus in Denmark where she researched comparative politics and Northern European democracies.
She is fluent in Italian and English and has a good knowledge of French.
