Sharon Segel has an extensive background in international media management and strategic communications spanning 15 years with a focus on geo-political issues.​ Sharon currently serves as a Director based in APCO’s London office.

At APCO, she drives strategic communications, media relations and executive positioning on behalf of clients in the tech, financial services, food and beverage, tourism, philanthropy and government sectors. She has also run a number of executive events for clients.​

Sharon provides strategic advice to clients and utilises her relationships with tier one media to land coverage of clients’ announcements and secure interviews in leading news publications and broadcast outlets. Sharon also advises clients on crisis and reputation management, with a particular focus on navigating in a sensitive and highly-charged geo-political context.​

Sharon has considerable experience in running public relations at major conferences in the Middle East and securing considerable coverage in leading tier one print and broadcast outlets during these global events.​

Previously, Sharon was the deputy spokesperson at the British Embassy in Tel Aviv and responsible for the British Ambassador and wider Embassy’s media relationships and outreach, communicating UK government policy and running media point on senior ministerial visits. Prior to this she worked for Labour Member of Parliament Andrew Dismore and the Parliamentary Committee Against Antisemitism, the secretariat for the British All Party Parliamentary Group on Antisemitism.​

Sharon holds a BA in History and Politics and an MSc in American Politics.
