Sami Salameh is an accomplished communications strategist with over 12 years of experience managing high-level public relations and strategic communication efforts for government and semi-government organizations in the UAE. His expertise spans corporate communications, media relations and digital platforms, where he has consistently led successful initiatives to enhance public visibility and position entities as thought leaders on both local and global stages.
As the director of Strategic Communications working for the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT), Sami oversaw a dedicated team and managed key communications projects, including the “Make it in the Emirates” campaign and international events such as COP27 and COP28. His strategic communications expertise has helped with positioning the ministry as a leader in industry and technology on both domestic and international stages.
Previously, Sami worked closely with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) communications team, where he contributed to the planning and building of the Government Communication Department and led numerous campaigns on climate action. He also trained spokespeople ensuring they could effectively communicate key messages to diverse audiences.
