Ruihan Zhu is a project assistant and is based in Beijing, China. She is a member of APCO’s Public Affairs & Government Relations practice. Ruihan specializes in social impact, technology and consumer brands.

Prior to joining APCO, Ruihan was a research assistant at the Institute of International Development Cooperation, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, where she focused on China’s development cooperation initiatives related to environmental sustainability, agriculture and ICT technologies. Her professional experience also extends to think tank, consultancy and non-profit organization.
Ruihan holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, where she was a Dahrendorf Scholar and a member of the IFSTAL Program. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy from Peking University. Ruihan is fluent in English and Mandarin.
