Blunt

Associate Director

Richard Blunt supports clients in a range of industries, most notably working in the high-tech, sustainability, transport, health care and defence sectors. He has significant experience working across a variety of public affairs roles, specializing in providing detailed, technical research to clients. Richard currently serves as an Associate Director based in APCO’s London office.

Prior to joining APCO, Richard worked for TWC Associates, a boutique business strategy consultancy which specialized in developing and implementing business strategies for a wide range of corporate and non-corporate clients. He also gained experience working in the UK Parliament for two members of Parliament and joined APCO with considerable knowledge of political and legislative processes across Westminster.​

Outside of work, Richard volunteers as London grassroots coordinator for international development charity Results UK. He is also the Director of Programming for Young Professionals in Foreign Policy – London Branch, helping to develop engaging discussions to help to build the next generation of diverse foreign policy leaders.​

Richard holds a master’s degree in conflict, security & development (with distinction) from King’s College London.
