Peter Cuomo is a project assistant and member of APCO’s Geo-Commerce team in APCO’s Washington office. He provides geopolitical research centered on the U.S., China, Europe, Canada and Southeast Asia. His commitment to delivering accurate and timely analysis helps clients in the apparel, tech and energy sectors navigate political risk, trade barriers, supply chain issues and other geopolitical matters.
Before joining APCO, Peter was a trainee at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington, D.C. where he facilitated transatlantic communication and research between the U.S. Congress and European Parliament. Peter also researched environmental, investment and financial regulatory issues during internships with New York Senator Charles E. Schumer and New York Assemblyman Steve Stern. Peter also worked with the Department of State on a project tracking Chinese subnational investments throughout Western Europe.
Peter graduated from Hamilton College with major in World Politics and minor in Italian Studies and is proficient in Italian.
