Senior Associate Director, Global Business Development

Olivia Ash-Ranger brings experience of working in three different global markets, advising government entities, large scale development projects and multinational corporations. She specializes in strategic communications, research and strategy development and project management.

As a Senior Associate Director, Global Business Development in APCO’s Global New Business based in APCO’s Singapore office, Olivia leads the development of proposals that offer tailored solutions for clients drawing on APCO’s global expertise, experience and market access. In her client work, Olivia’s focus is on research and strategy development, where she has designed and implemented comprehensive communication strategies for clients in industries such as tourism, film, urban development and maritime. She has also led and project managed workstreams for international events spanning topics such as education, science and culture, finance and,entrepreneurship.

Olivia’s career at APCO includes experience in multiple locations in the MENA region, the UK and Asia. In London, Olivia worked on developing high-level advisory boards comprising C-suite global advisors to support the growth of large-scale development projects. As one the first employees in APCO’s Riyadh office, Olivia supported the development and expansion of the office helping to grow client relationships and recruit a best-in-class team. Now based in Asia as part of the Global New Business team, Olivia supports the growth of strategy and business development skills across APCO’s global network, regularly providing training and support in strategy and project management skills.

Prior to returning to APCO, Olivia worked as a senior account manager for the Blakeney Group in London where she project managed significant media and public affairs campaigns, built relationships with community stakeholders, and worked on international and localized profile-raising projects for clients in live music, events and energy industries with a focus on Covid and Brexit related challenges.

Oliviia holds a Master of Arts (Hons) in International Relations from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and is currently qualifying in Prince2 Foundation.
