Melissa Jun Rowley is a media and technology entrepreneur and an advocate for climate justice and gender equity. She is the founder and CEO of Warrior Love Productions, a mission-driven consulting firm and production house and serves as a go-to expert for the United Nations Climate Change Global Innovation Hub. Melissa specializes in building ecosystems and campaigns to reshape climate narratives and drive decarbonization.

Melissa brings extensive expertise in communications strategy, business development and thought leadership for organizations such as the World Bank’s Low Carbon City program, Catalina Island Conservancy, William Morris Endeavor, Grounded.org, MasterCard, Cisco, Silicon Valley Bank, Lexus and a range of startups. She has directed and produced the video series “Border Breakers” and executive produced independent films focused on environmentalism, human rights and AI through the Mintworthy Film Project.

Previously, Melissa built The Toolbox, a startup accelerator for entrepreneurs in developing economies, which led her to work with founders in more than 70 countries, implementing sustainability strategies into their operations.

Earlier in her career, Melissa covered major entertainment events for CNN and Associated Press Television News, produced business news from the New York Stock Exchange and served as a tech expert for BBC News. Her writing has appeared in Forbes, TechCrunch, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, The Guardian, Business Insider and Reuters. A graduate of the Founder Institute, Rowley has received the United Nations Media for Impact Award and the Visionary Award from the Business Center for New Americans for her work on refugees and entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa.
