Marley Ward is an experienced communications strategist specializing in crisis response, reputation management and earned media strategy. As an Associate Director with APCO’s Crisis and Litigation Communications practice in New York, Marley helps organizations and individuals navigate sensitive reputational challenges with clear, compelling messaging that builds trust and drives impact. She partners closely with executives and guides teams through high-stakes communications moments, translating complex issues into narratives that resonate with key audiences.
Prior to joining APCO, Marley spent four years at Hiltzik Strategies, where she led communications strategies for clients across technology, philanthrop, and media, with a focus on crisis response and litigation support. She has advised high-profile executives and organizations through sensitive reputational challenges, developing and executing media strategies that protect and enhance client reputations. Marley began her career at Rivian Automotive and has held roles in the nonprofit and tech sectors, where she helped build brand identities and advance international partnerships.
Marley holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.
