Luis Enrique Fernández Torres brings a wealth of expertise in corporate reputation management and strategic advisory, particularly across Latin American and Caribbean markets. As a consultant in APCO’s Washington, D.C., office, he supports diverse clients in public affairs, technology and impact space, leveraging his international policy experience and bilingual fluency. He also contributes to APCO’s UN and Latin America teams and leads new business development efforts. He has extensive experience on strategic partnerships and working with clients in the education and impact sectors. Luis Enrique has also assisted clients with public affairs and international and domestic policy developments.

Prior to joining APCO, Luis Enrique served as a student assistant at the Office of the President at the University of Florida.
Luis Enrique holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Florida and a Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University. Originally from Cuba, he is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
