Linda Barnhart is a senior director in APCO Worldwide’s crisis and litigation communications practice, based in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Barnhart provides strategic counsel and communications planning and support for both domestic and international clients on a range of issues. Her experience includes litigation communications, media relations, stakeholder communications, public affairs, crisis preparation and simulation development, event planning and execution and long-range program development.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Barnhart was the director of communications for Schagrin Associates, an international trade law firm based in Washington, D.C., where she supported communications around government litigation and trade association activities for the domestic steel industry.
Ms. Barnhart received her master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and her bachelors’ degrees in Print Journalism and International Studies from American University.
