Linda Barnhart provides strategic counsel and communications planning for both domestic and international clients on a range of issues. Her experience includes crisis and issues management, stakeholder communications, litigation communications, crisis preparation and simulation development, public affairs, media relations and strategic engagement with global platforms. Linda is a senior director in APCO’s global crisis and litigation communications practice, based in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining APCO, Linda was the director of communications for Schagrin Associates, an international trade law firm based in Washington, D.C., where she supported communications around government litigation and trade association activities for domestic industries.
Linda received her master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University and holds dual bachelors’ degrees in print journalism and international studies from American University.
