Lauren Compton, senior director with APCO Insight in Washington, D.C., works on the issues and crisis management team.
Ms. Compton is experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research domestically and internationally. She has significant experience with focus groups, one-on-one interviews, online surveys, telephone surveys and even ethnographic methodologies. She is also a RIVA-trained moderator.
While Ms. Compton has experience with a wide variety of audiences and topic areas, her areas of focus include message development, branding and positioning and creative assessment. Since joining APCO, she has specialized in the food and consumer goods and health and wellness practice areas, being heavily involved in research among consumer segments such as moms and low-income families.
Ms. Compton previously worked for a Honomichl 50 primary market research firm in Atlanta, where she gained experience working in the telecommunications, consumer electronics and health care industries. Her research topics ranged from tracking branding campaigns to communication testing for medical devices, and she has significant experience interviewing consumers, patients, health care professionals, IT decision-makers, employees and small business owners.
Ms. Compton graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and a minor in Spanish.
