Kelsey specializes in developing and executing integrated executive positioning strategies, including multi-market media relations, thought leadership and executive presence at major global convenings such as the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos. Kelsey also brings significant experience in leading large-scale advocacy campaigns, managing crisis communications and advising on corporate reputation and external relations, making her a trusted partner for clients navigating today’s dynamic and high-stakes environments.
Prior to joining APCO, Kelsey worked at the intersection of foreign policy and advocacy communications with roles at the German Marshall Fund of the United States and leading communications for the Embassy of Afghanistan in Washington, D.C. In these roles, she led high-level public diplomacy efforts and managed international media engagements across Europe and the Middle East. She partnered with senior government officials and private sector leaders on programming and global communications strategies, advancing diplomatic objectives and promoting international development and national security priorities. Her diverse experience across markets and sectors gives her a nuanced understanding of geopolitical dynamics, cross-cultural communications and executive positioning in complex environments.
Kelsey is a recipient of Elon University’s Top 10 Under 10 Alumni Award, recognizing her outstanding achievements within a decade of graduation. She earned dual degrees in strategic communications and international relations as an Honors Fellow at Elon University, where she honed her expertise in global affairs and strategic messaging.
