Karina Auger is a director in APCO’s Paris office, where she leads the Crisis Communications and Geo-Advisory practices. She advises governments, public officials and corporate leaders in issues management, crisis communications, as well as for and the development and implementation of international and national public affairs and strategic communications plans. In recent years, she has led influence programs for the government of Côte d’Ivoire, and supported international companies such as AXA, Solvay or the Libra Association.

Prior to joining APCO, Karina served as chief of staff and media advisor to the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), the French public agency in charge of funding and regulating the film and audiovisual industries. In the last few years, she also worked as a consultant at Burson Marsteller i&e (Burson Cohh & Wolfe), where she advised foreign governments and political parties and supported various companies in managing their reputation and their relations with key stakeholders.

A French and Canadian citizen, Karina started her career as a political staffer at the Canadian House of Commons. She thus has solid experience in political communication.

Karina is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, as well as of the Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
