Kaitlyn Goforth specializes in public affairs, advocacy and strategic communications campaigns. Kaitlyn currently serves as a Director at APCO and is based in Raleigh, where she helps her clients navigate complex policy and business challenges.
Prior to joining APCO, Kaitlin served as a senior account manager at strategic communications firm Eckel & Vaughan in Raleigh, NC, where she worked alongside clients at the local, state and federal level to help them solve problems through strategic public relations and public affairs efforts. Before joining Eckel & Vaughan, she was a managing associate at public affairs, crisis and strategic communications firm CLS Strategies in Washington, D.C.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn volunteers with the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts as a Guardian ad Litem, serving abused and neglected children in Wake County by advocating for their best interests in court. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
