Her expertise spans a wide range of industries including higher education, nonprofit, health, technology, chemical, automotive, food and beverage, performing arts and legal.

Emily has planned and implemented global media relations and executive visibility programs. She has also designed signature initiatives and forged partnerships between corporate clients and nonprofit organizations. In addition to client work, Emily leads volunteer efforts and organizes community service activities for APCO’s Chicago office where she is currently based. Early in her career, Emily was named to PRNews’ 15 to Watch list.
Before she joined APCO, she was a senior publicist with Planned Television Arts (PTA), a division of Ruder Finn, where she coordinated national media campaigns for spokespersons, celebrities, politicians, authors, corporations and nonprofit organizations.

received her Bachelor of Arts in English from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she graduated magna cum laude.
