Elizabeth Gray is a senior director at APCO and is based in New York. She specializes in corporate communications and issues management, with experience working with diverse clients across several industries, including consumer goods, energy and hospitality.
Ms. Gray plays an integral role in managing several accounts in the New York office and is a member of our issues and crisis management team. She has experience counseling clients and driving project teams to build and manage corporate reputation and recognition through proactive media relations programs, executive positioning and ongoing issues management. Her experience has included the development and roll out a new corporate narrative and mission statement for global hospitality company; in-depth issues scenario planning; and the management of significant national corporate announcements, including high-profile business transactions, large product recalls, and corporate change initiatives.
Prior to joining the APCO team, Ms. Gray spent four years working in federal and state government relations in Washington, D.C., in which she tracked legislative policy issues and advocated on behalf of clients in the energy, education and transportation sectors before federal, state and local officials.
Ms. Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in history and Spanish from Sewanee – The University of the South and a master’s degree in corporate communication from New York University.
