Elena Riva is an associate account director at APCO and is based in Riyadh. Ms. Riva has years of experience in developing and executing reputation building campaigns for government entities and global corporations. As a member of the firm’s Global Solutions practice, she has been advising the firms’ clients on their public affairs strategies, stakeholder engagement and crisis communications management. Ms. Riva’s expertise in EU affairs, geopolitics and digital policy assists with clients’ engagement strategies and reputation building at EU level.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Riva provided policy advice to transport and technology clients at a tech public affairs consultancy in Brussels. She is a former European Parliament political advisor where she has worked on aviation, road transport and digital policy areas.
With a background in humanities and social sciences, Ms. Riva is fluent in several European languages including Portuguese, French and Spanish.
