Danielle Calhoun is an experienced corporate reputation consultant, specializing in multifaceted communications strategies to drive awareness, engagement and advocacy. As a Sr. Associate Director in APCO’s Washington office, and a member of both the Corporate Reputation and Impact teams, Danielle has worked with clients across a range of sectors while centering access, inclusion and belonging. She is also an experienced project manager, having overseen client accounts in the philanthropy, financial and consumer brand spaces. Danielle is passionate about bringing dynamic storytelling to the forefront, and has managed earned and paid media campaigns, and amplified executive visibility.

Danielle has been firmly rooted in client service since her start and spent time at public affairs and digital media firms managing and growing client relationships prior to joining APCO. She has worked with advocacy and issue-based clients to propose solutions and expand their impact. Danielle began her career implementing grassroots outreach to hone in on target audiences at a local level.
Danielle is a member of the ColorComm Network, Washington Women in Public Relations and ForbesBLK. She has a passion for writing and editing, and majored in public relations at the University of Maryland, College Park.
