What Will Define This Year’s Presidential Election in Brazil
Caroline Gibin Ribeiro is a senior associate director at APCO and is based in Washington, D.C. She specializes in Latin American geopolitics and is a member of the firm’s OXC practice. At APCO, Ms. Ribeiro currently services clients in a variety of industries, ranging from health care to consumer goods, in their public affairs and communications needs. She also has experience working with clients in their institutional positioning at large-scale, global events such as WEF Davos and UNGA.
A Brazilian native, Ms. Ribeiro moved from São Paulo to Washington, D.C. in 2016. Before joining APCO, she worked at Mitsubishi Corporation Americas, covering economic, political, and geopolitical developments in Latin America and the Caribbean. Previously, she helped manage the Brazil and Southern Cone practice of McLarty Associates, a D.C.-based global governments affairs consulting firm. In Brazil, she held roles at the American Chamber of Commerce, Natura & Co, and General Electric.
Ms. Ribeiro has a bachelor’s degree in international relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in PR and global strategic communications. She speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
