As a senior associate director in internal and change communications at Gagen MacDonald, an APCO company, she develops and implements strategic communications programs that drive results, ensuring employees at all levels feel informed and motivated. Caroline’s expertise spans corporate communications, union campaign/labor relations communications, crisis management, and organizational change across sectors.

Previously, Caroline served as associate director of Americas IOA communications at Cognizant, where she led labor communications and developed engagement strategies for the company’s delivery population in North America. Her work included guiding leaders through post-union election communications and advising on crisis response, strengthening the organization’s resilience. Caroline played a role in launching Cognizant’s new values and Employee Value Proposition (EVP), collaborating with Human Resources (HR) and marketing to enhance the cultural narrative. Prior to that, she was a communications manager at JetBlue Airways, where she led communications for the airline’s largest customer-facing team, ran a successful union campaign, drove executive messaging and helped manage crisis communications for the Airports team.
Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Union College, where she graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AP style, and HTML, her technical skills complement her communication strategies. Caroline’s career reflects a dedication to fostering employee engagement, navigating organizational change, and developing impactful communication strategies, all of which she brings to her role at Gagen with expertise and passion.
