Alessandra Deswal is an experienced advisor in the field of healthcare and pharma with know-how in media relations and strategies, awareness campaigns, corporate and product communications as well as crisis management. She has 10 years’ experience and as a Senior Consultant in APCO’s Rome office has worked on multiple projects engaging healthcare stakeholders as diverse as pharma companies, scientific societies and patient associations.
Alessandra developed her strong expertise in media relations and health communication through her work in a sector-focused Italian communication agency and institutional healthcare-related press offices.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical sciences from University College London (UCL) and a Master’s degree in Science communication from La Sapienza University of Rome. She’s a native bilingual in Italian and English, is fluent in Hindi and has good knowledge of French.
