A university’s newly appointed communications leader took on a larger portfolio as restructuring moved web and research teams into the communications function. This change meant that the existing communications structure would absorb new teams while serving schools and units across the university. APCO helped redesign the organizational structure, build the business case for centralization to key stakeholders and guide the change on campus. Today, the university runs a more efficient communication function, and leaders continue to call on APCO for organizational design and crisis response.
