Stephen Kinsella Joins APCO as Senior Advisor in London Strengthening APCO’s Global Competition and M&A Practice

APCO is delighted to announce that Stephen Kinsella has joined the firm as a senior advisor in APCO’s Competition and M&A team based in London. Kinsella will work closely with APCO’s Head of Europe Competition and M&A, Robert McLeod, to further enhance the firm’s ability to provide strategic advice on complex competition and regulatory matters.

Kinsella brings over three decades of experience in EU competition law, having advised clients across the technology, pharmaceutical, media and sports sectors. Before joining APCO, he was a partner and head of the European Antitrust/Competition group at Sidley and previously served as managing partner of Herbert Smith’s Brussels office. His expertise and leadership have been recognised by numerous industry accolades, including multiple “Competition Team of the Year” awards.

In 2002, Kinsella was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen for services to British commercial interests in Belgium and in particular for his contributions as president of the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and president of the Brussels Shakespeare Society.
