Teymourian

Senior Associate Director

Yasmin Teymourian is a Senior Associate Director in APCO’s global health practice. She is an experienced advisor in health policy, public affairs and market access, with a track record of supporting pharmaceutical, medical device and global health clients across the U.S. and Southeast Asia. Yasmin specializes in navigating complex policy environments, developing stakeholder engagement strategies and aligning commercial goals with government priorities. She brings a thoughtful, cross-functional approach to help clients strengthen their license to operate, expand access to innovation and engage effectively with policymakers and other key stakeholders in priority markets. Yasmin is based in APCO’s Washington office, and is currently seconded to Singapore as the interim Health Practice Lead for Southeast Asia.

Previously, Yasmin worked at GCI Health in New York, where she led corporate communications and public relations efforts for global pharmaceutical and medical device companies. In this role, she supported clients across product launches, executive positioning and reputation management initiatives, gaining first-hand experience in translating complex science into accessible narratives for diverse audiences. Her work deepened her understanding of how communications can be used strategically to build trust, navigate scrutiny and support market entry. In recognition of her contributions to the industry, Yasmin was named a finalist for PRWeek U.S.’s Outstanding Young Professional award in 2021.

Yasmin holds a Master of Science in Global Health Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Administration and Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is fluent in Persian and has proficiency in reading and writing.
