Valerio Moneta joined APCO Worldwide’s Brussels office in February 2023 as a Consultant. He advises clients on regulatory and public affairs in the firm’s Sustainability, Energy and Mobility practice, focusing on logistics and circular economy policy files.
Prior to joining APCO, Valerio worked in a Brussels-based EU public affairs consultancy, where he specialised in energy, circular economy and environmental policies and where he managed two industry associations for clients. He also helped establish and managed a data centre industry-led self-regulatory initiative.
Valerio began his career working in Corporate Governance advisory firms in Ireland and the Netherlands as a Research Analyst, providing intelligence to stakeholders and investors on ESG best practices for the Italian, German and Swiss markets.
Valerio holds a Master’s Degree in European Affairs from Roma Tre University and a Bachelor’s Degree in languages from Sapienza University.
Besides his native Italian, Valerio speaks English and Dutch fluently.
