Valerio Moneta is a senior consultant based in APCO’s Brussels office. He advises clients on regulatory and public affairs in the firm’s Sustainability, Energy and Mobility practice, focusing on logistics and circular economy policy files.
Prior to joining APCO, Valerio worked in a Brussels-based EU public affairs consultancy, where he specialised in energy, circular economy and environmental policies and where he managed two industry associations for clients. He also helped establish and managed a data centre industry-led self-regulatory initiative.
Valerio began his career working in Corporate Governance advisory firms in Ireland and the Netherlands as a Research Analyst, providing intelligence to stakeholders and investors on ESG best practices for the Italian, German and Swiss markets.
Valerio holds a Master’s Degree in European Affairs from Roma Tre University and a Bachelor’s Degree in languages from Sapienza University.
Besides his native Italian, Valerio speaks English and Dutch fluently.
