Tristan Fitzpatrick specializes in campaign management, digital communications strategy and grassroots advocacy, helping his clients elevate their engagement and cut through in crowded conversations. He is a senior communications consultant, based in APCO’s Washington, D.C. headquarters and is a member of the firm’s Digital and Public Affairs teams.

Prior to joining APCO, Tristan held digital communications roles with multiple nonprofit organizations, including the National Public Pension Coalition (NPPC), the Biden Campaign for President’s Out for Biden Coalition and the Cancer Support Community (CSC). In each of his roles, he guided and supported digital communications and public affairs campaigns, including message planning, creating multimedia content, coordinating advertisements and reporting results. For NPPC, he managed the digital communications for numerous statewide pension coalitions, where he successfully increased social media followers by an average of 90%. For the Biden Campaign for President’s Out for Biden Coalition, he advised the coalition on communications and digital best practices for turning out LGBTQ+ and pro-equality voters, and his efforts resulted in the coalition reaching over 18,000 voters. At CSC, he won multiple Digital Health Awards for managing the organization’s blog and social media accounts.
A native Hoosier and former science journalist, Tristan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University.
