Tahani Karrar is a seasoned senior content strategist and speechwriter based in APCO’s Abu Dhabi office. She brings to this role, more than 20 years’ experience creating content for intergovernmental institutions, news outlets, ministries and multinational corporations.
Tahani kick-started her career as a financial journalist at the Thomson Reuters News Agency in London before transitioning to a role as a Middle East correspondent for The Wall Street Journal and content manager at Google. Throughout her career, she has covered a range of sectors including oil and gas, finance, telecommunications, real estate, tourism, technology and ESG. Her work has been featured in prominent outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, CNBC News and Think with Google.
Proficient in both English and Arabic, Tahani has written speeches at the ministerial, C-suite and board levels for some of the most well-known personalities in the world. She has a deep passion for the Middle East region and a commitment to contribute to its progress.
Tahani holds an MEng in Biochemical Engineering and Management from University College London (UCL) and has been recognised with several awards, including the Dow Jones EMEA Journalism Award in 2008.
