Szena Daya is a director on the Global Philanthropy Group team at APCO Worldwide and is based in the California office. She brings a background in nonprofit management and global health and development and has advised a range of high-profile individuals and corporate clients on their philanthropic strategies. She has worked on diverse issues including global poverty alleviation, girls’ education, health equity and LGBTQ+ equality.
Prior to joining the Global Philanthropy Group, Ms. Dayo was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) where she assisted hospital systems in developing strategic plans for improved provision of services and conducted performance assessments of global health programs and policy. Earlier in her career, she worked abroad as a research fellow for Ghana Health Service, analyzing health system barriers to contraceptive use among adolescents.
Ms. Dayo holds a Bachelor of Science in International Health from Georgetown University and is a native French speaker.
