Suemya Shabab is an Associate Director at APCO’s Washington, D.C. office, specializing in digital communications, content creation and integrated campaigns. She provides counsel on data-driven and innovative digital strategies that drive reputation and business results for her clients.

Throughout her time at APCO, Suemya has led successful change management efforts for a Fortune 50 company, driving effective internal communications for newly acquired employees and fostering a positive employee experience. Additionally, she has supported the firm’s in-house global marketing team collaborating with colleagues across diverse markets and managing both local and international events. Suemya has also contributed to APCO’s external positioning, ESG reporting and employee engagement initiatives.

Suemya holds a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Hollins University. She is a bilingual native speaker of English and Arabic.
