Stuart Sinclair is non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee at Lloyds Banking Group. He has held senior management roles in banking, consulting and insurance in the UK and internationally, including serving as CEO of Tesco Bank, CEO of GE Capital’s consumer business in the UK and China and director of UK retail banking at RBS.
In his non-executive career, Stuart has served on 16 boards across listed and private companies, startups and established firms, both UK-based and internationally owned. His board experience includes Lloyds Banking Group, LV Insurance, Willis Ltd, QBE, Swinton Insurance and several others. He is chair of Vida Bank, a UK challenger bank and has chaired multiple remuneration committees.
Stuart holds an MBA from UCLA and a master’s degree in economics with first class honours from the University of Aberdeen. He is a recipient of the Adam Smith Medallion and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship.
