As a Senior Editor at APCO, she aims to transform the way people read and think about the world around them, making it possible for everyone to receive unfettered information and knowledge through her words.

Before joining APCO, Shalini served as a tech journalist specializing in PR and Communications at Cubozoa, a Dubai-based payments solutions service provider and consultant. She contributed significantly to the company’s mission of enabling merchants and businesses to embrace cryptocurrencies and digital assets as alternative payment methods. Notably, she supported key clients SALAMANTEX and CharryNetwork, based in Austria and Malta, respectively.
Shalini also worked as a tech journalist at Telecom Review, an online media platform in Dubai dedicated to ICT, tech and telecommunications. In this role, she covered industry developments in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions, as well as contributed to the annual Telecom Review Summit, a prestigious gathering of industry leaders and analysts.
Shalini began her journey in the field of journalism and content development at Lazada Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she served as a content writer.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and International Studies from Monash University Australia, and her Bachelor of Laws (LLM) from the University of Reading, UK. She speaks English and Bahasa Melayu (Malay) fluently.
