Riley Templeton is a senior associate director in APCO’s Raleigh office. As the deputy leader for APCO’s North America Equity & Justice Practice, she specializes in employee engagement, executive positioning, DEI strategies and digital advocacy campaigns.
At APCO, she provides counsel on data-driven and inclusive communications strategies that educate, engage or mobilize stakeholders. Through her corporate reputation work, she works with companies to develop employee engagement and executive brand strategies that deliver business results. She spent two-years as co-chair of APCO’s North America DEI Council, and also led the development of APCO’s racial equity initiative and now serves as its co-lead—creating and publishing APCO’s first annual racial equity transparency report. She currently works with clients across the corporate, higher education and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to joining APCO, she worked with Pace Communications and the Kramden Institute. Ms. Billman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from Elon University. During her studies, she completed a one-month project in Peru, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, to conduct marketing research to promote economic development.
